Oregon City, OR
Dr. Sean Kim is a member of International Congress of Oral Implantologists(ICOI) and achieves the perfect implant placement
for each patient by using 3D imaging and surgical guides. Whether you lost one tooth or an entire arch, you can trust Dr.Kim for the best results.
Given proper care, your dental implants
should last for decades. Up until just a few years ago, implant dentistry
diagnostics and treatment planning used conventional x-rays and panographs for assessing bone and tissue quantity and quality, along with basic 2D technical data used for determining where each implant would be placed. Conventional x-rays, however, oftentimes failed to reveal certain tissue conditions that could contribute to or directly cause an unwanted tooth implant
failure. These “conditions” wouldn’t be revealed until dental implant surgery
actually began. These normal events of “undiscovered diagnostic data” were routinely blamed for sudden changes in treatment planning or, in other cases, where seemingly successful dental implants
failed after treatment was completed.
Thanks to advancements in dental technology, a small group of reconstructive dentists nationwide, including Dr. Kim, can now provide full-mouth or single-arch reconstruction in just one appointment. We can diagnose and treat a wide range of treatment needs, eliminating the need for specialist referrals.
Looking for permanent teeth replacement options? If you’re a candidate for the all-on-4 procedure
. Like the name suggests, all-on-4 works by supporting an entire arch of false teeth with only 4dental implants. If you’ve experienced severe tooth loss, it’s time to learn if all-on-4 dental implants
are the right choice for you.
All-on-4 is a treatment concept in which a full-arch dental prosthesis is completely supported by four dental implants. Dr. Kim has expanded this concept to incorporate the use of six dental implants when possible. This helps to ensure the best possible bone health for our patients.
Placing six to eight dental implants
provides a higher standard of care. Of course, the patient’s bone tissue conditions must permit the placement of six to eight implants.
